The Widiger Health Careers Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1998 by Al and Jan Widiger in recognition of the increasing need for skilled health professionals in many fields and their desire to make a lasting difference by helping students pursue their career goals in these fields. Criteria: 2.7 GPA with no grade less than a "C, Accumulated 15 credit hours, Student must be enrolled in a Health Careers or Nursing program (with 70% allocated to Health Careers and 30% allocated to Nursing), and have an interest in pursuing an advanced degree program, although this is not required for eligibility.
