Fran and Jules Belkin Endowed Fund for Creative Arts

Established in recognition of Fran and Jules Belkin’s long-term commitment to Cuyahoga Community
College’s JazzFest and creative arts programs, and their impact on the music and art communities
throughout the region. This fund will help the College develop, enhance and sustain Creative Arts
Initiatives now and in the future to provide great access to educational and enrichment opportunities
for students and community members. Through the support of the Fran and Jules Belkin Endowed
Fund for Creative Arts, students and area residents from diverse communities will have access to
hands-on educational experiences and learning opportunities that will enrich their education and
prepare them for careers in creative arts.
Scholarship Criteria:
• 2.75 GPA
• Student must be enrolled in a Creative Arts major – including music programs; visual
communication and design programs (graphic design, advertising design, media arts,
interactive media, illustration, digital video, filmmaking, photography); theatre
performance (art, dance, and music) and technical theatre programs; and/or recording arts
and technology.
