Gill and Tommy LiPuma

Veterans of the recording music industry, Gill and Tommy LiPuma were instrumental in envisioning the development of Cuyahoga Community College’s Center for Creative Arts, which bears their name. Their generosity enabled the recording studios, digital music laboratories, dance studios and other amenities that fill the building. Their commitment to honing the artistic training of students will allow emerging artists to realize their potential. Recipients of these scholarship awards will be recognized as LiPuma Scholars.
Criteria
•3.0 GPA
•Student must be enrolled in either the recording arts (AAB) or music program (AA).
•Enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
•Award based on merit and does not require student to demonstrate financial need
•Student will be recommended for an award by faculty and dean from the Creative Arts Center ofExcellence.
•Scholarship is renewable for a total of three years, as long as the student continues to meet criteria.
