Completed the first year of the Nursing program with a minimum GPA required for graduation.
• The applicants scholarship essay should include why they chose Nursing as a Profession along
with any details on outside involvement engaged in Nursing.
• A reference letter is required. This letter shall be submitted in support of the Applicant by a
Staff member of the Nursing Department, who has firsthand knowledge of the Applicant’s
performance during their Clinical studies.
• Student has demonstrated financial need as determined by the FAFSA.
