Alfred Lerner Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Alfred Lerner Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by the Lerner Foundation to serve as a legacy of Mr. Alfred Lerner’s service and commitment to Veterans. The Lerner Foundation was created in 1993 by Alfred and Norma Lerner. Mr. Lerner, a former U.S. Marine, and his wife, Norma, were trailblazers in philanthropy, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others through their generous donations to advance medical research and to provide educational opportunities. Because of Mr. Lerner’s involvement with the Marine Corps, the Lerner Foundation is also dedicated to enabling our veterans to acclimate back to productive civilian lives. The Foundation is grounded on the premise that there is no greater cause than to help others through furthering and developing new research while helping people get the best health care and education possible. Criteria: 2.5 GPA, U.S. Veteran.
