NEORSD Richard N. Connelly Memorial Scholarship

• This fund was established by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) in 2008 to honor the memory of Richard N. Connelly, a 30-year NEORSD employee who was firmly committed to protecting our waterways. Recipients will be given the opportunity to interview with NEORSD for a paid 12-week internship.
• Majoring in one of the following programs:
o Biology
o Chemistry
o Construction Engineering Technology
o Earth Science
o Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
o Environmental Health & Safety Technology
o Integrated Systems Engineering Technology
o Mechanical Engineering Technology
o Physical Science
o Physics
• Preference given to students majoring in Environmental Health & Safety Technology
• 2.8 Grade point average
• Completed a minimum of one semester of course work
• Applicants must submit one letter of recommendation by Tri-C faculty
• Demonstrated financial need
• Citizen of the United States
• Reside in the service area of NEORSD
• NEORSD employees and their immediate family are ineligible
Scholarship recipients will be selected and awards will be made by a committee comprised of representatives of NEORSD and Cuyahoga Community College.
