George L. Forbes Scholarship

This scholarships was established the Cleveland Chapter of the NAACP, in honor of George L. Forbes. Mr. Forbes previously served as President of the Cleveland Chapter of the NAACP, and served as President of Cleveland City Council from 1974 to 1989.
Criteria:
• Tri-C student in good standing.
• Graduate from a high school in the Greater Cleveland area
• 2.0 GPA
• Demonstrated financial need
• Demonstration of community service.
