Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Scholarship

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by the Cleveland Teachers Union in honor of the extraordinary contributions made by civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Financial assistance is awarded to students regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin. The fund is supported by numerous donations including gifts from the Black McDonald’s Owners of Cleveland and gifts made in memory of Herman B. Alexander and Zelma W. George.
